Japanese Bottle

Gina actually spotted this bottle while walking on the shore last week. It was found on the west coast of Ireland. How it got there is a bit of a mystery? It is not too faded so would appear not to be at sea for too long. I don't think it came from a Japanese visitor to Ireland and dumping it, with restrictions on carrying such items on-board planes. It may have been discarded by a cruise liner or a cargo ship?
I think it may have come from a Japanese fishing boat operating far out in the Atlantic. It appears to be a lime flavoured energy drink so a Japanese fisherman may have being getting a much needed energy boost during his working day.

  1. I particularly like how taking a photo of it on the beach wasn't enough. You had to bring it home as a souvenir!
