Switching Gear.

The crew of the "Patrick C" switching fishing nets over from demersal trawls (used to catch bottom dwelling fish)  to a mid water trawl used to capture pelagic or mid water swimming fish. The vessel will pair trawl with another vessel and between them they will tow this net  to target herring which shoal in huge numbers off the south coast of Ireland this time of year.
