Pumping herrings

Herrings being pumped from the hold of the Carmona to a waiting tanker. The tanker then transports the fish to a factory for processing. The fish and water are pumped up through the black pipe, they are separated in the metal box at the top and the majority of the water is drained back down through the green pipe. Its a good idea not to stand too close to the pipes when this is going on as you could end up sprayed with fish juice!!!!
